GTR India Trade Finance Conference 2023

Global Trade Review (GTR) organised an exclusive one-day trade finance conference in Mumbai on May 24, 2023, where more than 450 delegates across the trade finance industry attended to network and connect with key experts, industry peers and potential clients. The key focus of the event was to reflect upon the latest Indian trade and export market developments. Topics ranged from regulatory policy to shifting supply chain dynamics, banking reforms, credit access, fintech innovation and sustainability, among others.
Mizuho India was one of the Gold sponsors at this year’s GTR India event. We had an interactive booth onsite where our team engaged with conference delegates, who were excited to receive personalised caricature photos of themselves at the Mizuho booth.
Besides having a booth presence at the exhibition hall, Jeetesh Bhatia, Head of Global Transaction Banking, Mizuho Bank India, was invited as a panel speaker at one of the sessions: “Digitise to monetise? Emerging fintech solutions to banking, credit and trade obstacles.” Jeetesh shared his perspectives on promoting cross border trade in this digital economy, as well as the changes in India’s trade ecosystem landscape that has led to document digitalisation.
