Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, Ltd. (President & CEO: Koji Fujiwara), has established a sub–branch in the Hongqiao area of Shanghai, China.
Hongqiao is witnessing a number of large–scale development projects, as highlighted by the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) held there in November 2018. The area is expected to see further development as a transportation hub, attracting many Japanese and other multinational companies.
The Hongqiao Sub–Branch is our third office in Shanghai, following the Shanghai Head Office and the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone Sub–Branch. The new office will enhance our capabilities to serve Japanese corporate clients in the region. Leveraging our expanded network in China, we are committed to developing closer relationships with corporate clients and supporting their business development in the country.
