Mizuho Securities became a subsidiary of Mizuho Corporate Bank. The same year, Mizuho Trust & Banking (MHTB) was formed.

Mizuho Bank & Mizuho Corporate Bank merged to establish Mizuho Bank Ltd. Mizuho Securities and Mizuho Investor Securities also combined to form Mizuho Securities, and our ‘One Mizuho’ strategy is launched to acknowledge our role in society and reaffirm our vision of becoming a global financial services group.
