New York, May 6, 2024 – Mizuho Americas, part of Mizuho Financial Group (NYSE: MFG), one of the largest financial institutions in the world, today announced it won fourteen Financial Communications Society (FCS) Portfolio awards including two for Best in Show. The Awards celebrate outstanding marketing and communications campaigns in financial services.
Mizuho won in the categories of employee communications, corporate image, visual identity, television linear/streaming, digital display, out-of-home advertising, influencer marketing, website, print advertising, and corporate social responsibility.

Best in Show trophies were awarded for top overall judges score in five categories. Mizuho received two of these featured awards:
Sponsorship Marketing – for Mizuho’s inaugural Mizuho Americas Open, a purpose-driven LPGA tournament that promotes women, celebrates excellence, and advances the next generation of talent both on and off the course.
Employee Communications, Event – Take Your Child to Work Day, a day-long event filled with workshops and activities for employees’ children to learn about the financial industry and the wide variety of careers available at banks like Mizuho. A video created at the event featured the children humorously taking on their parents’ roles at work.
The awards were presented at the FCS gala at Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
