What do you do at Mizuho?
I manage the Enterprise Infrastructure teams for Mizuho Americas Services supporting Mizuho Americas.  This includes network, server, storage, cloud, enterprise applications and database administration as well as overseeing our data center and service desks. 

What surprised you about Mizuho?
I've been most surprised by the breadth of our global business. 

What are Mizuho's culture and people like?
We have very solutions-driven and team-oriented organization.       

What’s a particularly proud moment you’ve had here?​
I have had some really great experiences while being at Mizuho. From a team perspective, the move to our current office presented an interesting challenge for our IT team. We decided that to facilitate the move we were going to upgrade our entire core desktop environment to support virtualization. This transition allowed us to move the entire office over the weekend with little impact to our users. 

How have you grown since joining Mizuho?
Since joining Mizuho, I have been able to extend my management skills and core technical capabilities.

What else interests you, outside financial services?
I am a gadget person. I enjoy technology and applying it to things, such as home automation.

What do you do for fun?
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time hiking with my wife and two sons.
