Post BOJ Monetary Policy Meeting - Video Conference Call

We invite you to join us for a post Bank of Japan (BOJ) meeting analysis from Shoki Omori (Chief Yen Desk Strategist) and Shunsuke Kobayashi (Chief Economist in Equities); both are based in Tokyo, Japan.

There has been speculation from some market participants that the BOJ may revise its inflation outlook as a result of short term geopolitical factors and cost push inflation, rather than a change to the outlook of stable inflation and higher wages. Hence, it is widely believed that monetary policy will remain unchanged. BOJ watchers will be observing if policy remains unchanged as expected, and if any changes are made to forward guidance.

Shunsuke will share his views on the implications of the BOJ’s decision for the Japanese economy for 15 minutes, followed by Shoki who will discuss the impact on the Rates & FX markets, along with some trade ideas.
