Post BOJ Monetary Policy Meeting - Video Conference Call

We invite you to join us for a post Bank of Japan (BOJ) Monetary Policy meeting analysis with Shunsuke Kobayashi (Chief Economist) and Shoki Omori (Chief Desk Strategist for Rates & FX); both from Mizuho Securities, Tokyo. The session will be hosted by Evelyne Gomez-Liechti, Multi-Asset Rates Strategist from Mizuho International PLC in London.

Overall, the first set of Shunto provided positive results, which is likely to support the BOJ’s monetary policy normalization. That said, some comments have been reported from BOJ officials concerning rising overseas risk and uncertainty. On this call we will analyse the messaging that Mr. Ueda provides.

Shunsuke will share his views on the implication of the BOJ’s decision for Japanese economy for 15 minutes, followed by Shoki who will discuss the impact on the Rates & FX markets, along with trade ideas, moderated by Jordan Rochester, Head Macro Strategist from Mizuho International plc.
