London, 1 December 2021: Mizuho International plc (Mizuho International), the London based securities and investment banking arm of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc, today announced the appointment of Abrar Hussain as Head of MENA Debt Capital Markets, effective 28 November 2021. Hussain will be based at Mizuho International’s DIFC Branch.
Working alongside colleagues across Mizuho’s corporate and investment banking operations in MENA and globally, Hussain will play a key role in Mizuho’s continued growth strategy across the Middle East and North Africa with a focus on primary bond markets.
Hussain has over 20 years’ DCM and derivative experience across multiple client sectors and regions, most recently at Crédit Agricole as Head of MENA DCM.
