London, 14 November 2023: Mizuho was a proud participant in the 2023 Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday, 11 November.
Televised on the BBC, Mizuho colleagues walked side-by-side with their charity partner, Little Village – a charity dedicated to supporting families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London.
Suneel Bakhshi, President & Chief Executive Officer of Mizuho International plc and CIB Head for Mizuho in EMEA, said “As Mizuho Financial Group marks 150 years since the founding of its first bank, it is a great honour to participate in the Lord Mayor’s show, which is the oldest and longest civic procession in the world.”
He continues, “Mizuho has a long-established presence in the City of London and it is wonderful to see the community come together. From all of us at Mizuho, we welcome and support the 695th Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Michael Mainelli, in his new role.
