Celebrating 50 years in Amsterdam

Amsterdam, 18 October 2024: Mizuho is proud to celebrate 50 years in Amsterdam, Netherlands, a key strategic hub for Mizuho EMEA.

Established in 1974, Mizuho Bank Europe N.V has been providing financial services to Japanese and non-Japanese clients in the region for 50 years. In 2023, Amsterdam was announced as the key hub for Mizuho EMEA’s Universal Bank.

Commenting on this key milestone, Shinsuke Kajiwara, CEO for Mizuho Bank Europe N.V. said, “Japan’s trade relationship with the Netherlands goes back over 400 years, and Mizuho is honoured to be part of this relationship.
