With over three decades of extensive experience in banking and financial services, Mr. Suzuki has held several leadership positions within Europe and Asia.

Between 2004 and 2020, he focused mainly on providing commercial and investment banking solutions, targeting Japanese large corporations in the Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) sectors.

Mr. Suzuki joined the Board on 01 April 2023 and was appointed to his current role as CEO for EMEA in the same year. Prior to this, in 2020 Mr. Suzuki had relocated to the London office of Mizuho Bank, Ltd. as Deputy Head of EMEA where he was responsible initially for client facing business and from 2022 for the region's strategic planning function.

Mr. Suzuki graduated from Tokyo University with Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) in 1991. He followed this with a Masters of Laws degree (LLM) from The New York University School of Law in 2003, and an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 2004.
