Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (hereafter “MHFG”) and its consolidated subsidiaries and equity method affiliates listed in our securities reports, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "MHFG Group") will handle personal information of our customers only within the scope necessary to execute business and achieve the purposes of use described below, and will not handle it beyond this scope. If other laws and regulations restrict the use of specific personal information, we will not handle the information other than the specified purposes.

The MHFG Group will use your personal information for the following purposes in relation to various products and services of the group companies and affiliate companies.

- To exercise rights and fulfill obligations based on contracts with customers or as required by law.
- For conducting market research and data analysis to investigate and develop financial products and services.
